A co-worker of mine was about to become an auntie for the very first time, and wanted something special for her niece. She asked if I could help with an idea and make something for her to give to her sister for the baby, and this is what we came up with. A knit hat, knit booties and a crochet blanket, all in lavender and blush pink. I don’t recall using a pattern for the hat or the blanket, but the booties are based on (but not exactly like) Christine’s Booties. I like the basis of those booties, but I can never seem to make them exactly like the ones in the pattern. Usually, I make a fold-down cuff on them.
