Let me introduce myself… I am Sue Bee!

Hi, I’m Sue Bee!
I live in the North Country of New York, where I’ve happily settled after a couple of big adventures. In 2020, my partner and I packed up our home and moved nearly 3,000 miles to California. After two years, we realized it just didn’t feel like home, so in 2022 we headed back East—briefly landing on a snowy Vermont mountain before finally returning to where we belong. We plan to stay put for quite some time now!
I’m a mom to three grown sons and a very proud grandma to 14 grandchildren (so far!), ranging from newborn to adult. Add in my partner’s children, plus plenty of nieces and nephews, and you’ll understand why I always have yarn, fabric, or a sewing project close at hand. I love crocheting, knitting, sewing, and I’m currently learning to quilt so I can do even more with my sewing skills.
As I get organized and start sharing more of my projects, you may notice some images with watermarks from my former website, Owl Bee Darned. Unfortunately, hosting issues forced me to close that site, but I’m continuing to share my work here using many of the same images.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at the things I’ve made. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave a note—I’d love to hear from you!
